I Miss my very best friend so much ,taken too soon ,didn’t know the last handshake we had was literally the last time we would meet after 54 years together ,through countless laughs and in jokes only Stan would understand ,from junior school to adulthood and near pensioners , from push bikes to motorcycles and cars and first girlfriends and first homes and jobs ,through businesses together and so many adventures, drunken nights and long chats ,holidays ,and many concerts venues ,for our shared love of music, for your priceless gift to laugh at the misfortunes of others , which kept us amused for over 50 years , I thank you my dear friend so much for your principles, your friendship,your loyalty,your trust and friendship your love and support, your dignity,your humour, your bloody single minded stubbornness,if being on this earth has any meaning then know your leaving it so suddenly leaves a space no one can ever fill ,you were a rock in an ever changing world .
